AESTII ENGINEERING

BALTICS-BASED // OPEN VR HARDWARE

Open iteration hardware worth wearing.

Aestii Engineering is a Lithuania-based hardware studio building full-body tracking devices through visible, practical iteration. The aim is simple: make VR hardware that looks intentional, feels refined, and delivers excellent functionality without becoming closed or disposable.

DEVELOPMENT STATUS

LPT-02 is the active tracker platform. LPT-01 Plus remains as the archived first-generation reference.

NEXT GENERATION

LPT-02

A more capable tracker platform built around faster processing, better sensing, cleaner controls, USB-C charging and reflashing, and Aestii Engineering's new Kaita performance system.

Faster core

More powerful processor for tracking headroom and future firmware work.

Better sensors

Improved sensor package for cleaner motion data and refinement.

Nicer controls

More deliberate physical interaction for daily setup and handling.

USB-C I/O

Modern charging plus native reflashing for any firmware without treating the tracker as sealed hardware.

Kaita system

Aestii Engineering's signature performance system is designed to significantly increase usable battery life in most VR use cases without compromising weight or tracking performance.

ARCHIVED PRODUCT // LPT-01 PLUS

LPT-01 Plus documents where the tracker line started.

The archived product page covers the first release in full: custom hardware, SlimeVR firmware, lightweight construction, and the design decisions that shaped the move toward LPT-02.

WHY THIS EXISTS

Bridging aesthetics and hardware function.

Function

Tracking performance is the baseline: stable motion, predictable recovery, and hardware choices that serve real VR use.

Compact comfort

The LPT series exists because tracker size, weight, and wearability decide whether full-body tracking feels practical.

Aesthetics

Form is treated as engineering, not decoration: clean objects are easier to trust, handle, and keep using.

Optimisation

Where others scale up, Aestii looks for smarter systems: better efficiency, cleaner behavior, and less hardware burden.
